2020 OBAN GAMES
It is with deep regret that following a meeting of the Stewards of the Argyllshire Gathering, it has been decided that the 2020 Oban Games cannot be staged in their usual form, by reason of the pandemic.
Whilst that is obviously extremely disappointing, the Stewards are looking at innovative options with regard to the Piping Competitions and ways in which an event could be staged that would involve the whole of the town, as well as the school.
As matters are constantly evolving, the Stewards are meeting regularly to discuss options and they hope to make a positive statement in the near future. They will of course be guided by the appropriate advice at the time.
The next Argyllshire Gathering Oban Games will be held Thursday 26th August 2021.
