HARVEY GOTT - KENDAL

It is with great sadness we report the recent death of Harvey Gott (Kendal)

Harvey competed in the Highland Games and border games for well over 40 years, some of his first recorded wins are in the 880yds at Ambleside and Egremont in 1970, also among his many victories were the 800m BOAA Classic in 1983 recording 1.54.6 min from 37.5m.
Harvey was very enthusiastic about his running and travelled hundreds of miles a year to compete and soak up the atmosphere at the games, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
