DAVID HOOD - CRIEFF

In a bad week for Highland Games it is sad we now record the death of David Hood, Crieff.

Davie competed at Highland Games and Border Games throughout the sixties and seventies taking part in sprint and middle distance races. He also competed in light field events following in his fathers footsteps.

David was a Director at Crieff Highland Games for many years in charge of track and light field competitions. Throughout his games career he was Chairman of Crieff Highland Games as well as secretary of the SHGA for a short period.

He also took up judging and timekeeping on the games circuit.

Funeral at Perth Crematorium at 12.30 on Thursday 16/10/14.
