BALLATER HIGHLAND GAMES

CANCELLED

Unfortunately Ballater Highland Games 2020 is cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and following Government guidelines of holding large events.
There is an uncertainty over when schools may return which could make week day (Thursday) games an issue for those attending too.

Depending on further Government guidelines we hope to mark the occasion of the games, we would ask that all those Competitors and Spectators who usually join us on Monaltrie Park get dressed up in Highland attire and do what they usually do - be it Pipe, Dance or throw hammer, wherever it is safe to do. Then post pictures and videos to this page?

It is our Chieftain, Capt. A.A.C. Farquharson of Invercauld, 101st Birthday on 1st of May and it would have been amazing to celebrate on games day with him.

Monaltrie Park requires some work which we will take forward and hopefully be in a position to bring you as great a day in 2021 as possible.
