STRATHPEFFER HIGHLAND GATHERING
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Tonight we held an EGM as a follow up to our meeting a fortnight ago, the main discussion was to decide on whether to change the date of the 2016 Gathering so it would not clash with so many other events, these events affect the games activities in many way, whether it be another highland games, music festivals, local football games and other fair's/shows.
A vote was taken by committee members who attended the meeting and it was decided unanimously to change the date to the 2nd Saturday in August for 2016 i.e. the 13th August 2016.
Please share and/or tell as many people as you can so that we may have a successful Gathering this year as one of the issues pointed out was that our 2015 program had the 2016 date as the 6th on the back page.
Make a note in your diaries now for the 13th August 2016.
