Pitlochry Highland Games [Entry details].

PITLOCHRY HIGHLAND GAMES [Saturday 14th September]

Entry details for runners & cyclists.

To ensure your name appears on the programme competitors should endeavour to forward their entries by this weekend as Pitlochry has an early deadline with their printers.

Handicappers, Adam Crawford[Open events] and Shane Fenton[Youth events] will be at Birnam on Saturday taking entries from any athlete wishing to compete at Pitlochry.

Entries maybe accepted after this weekend at the discretion of the committee.

OPEN RUNNING & JUMPING

90M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M as well as SHGA Scottish 1600M Championship.

A relay open to all competitors who took part in any of the aforementioned events will also take place.

Long Jump, High Jump and Triple Jump.

YOUTH RUNNING & JUMPING

The Youth events at Pitlochry look like being as popular as ever. With 2 and half weeks until the Games, already almost 50 runners are down to take part. Boys and Girls will contest the 90 metres with seperate races owing to the numbers for the 400 metres and 800 metres.

A relay open to all competitors who took part in any of the aforementioned events will also be held.

The Games also stages the SHGA Scottish Junior Jumps Championship.

SHGA YOUTH RELAY

[In conjunction with Pitlochry HG]

Clubs/ Running 'schools' or teams of four can still enter this event which is open to all.

Teams to consist of two boys and two girls [under-16 on 14th September].

4 x half laps of the track. Medals to all finalists plus cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Individuals running in the relay can also enter the individual events on the programme if they wish.

CYCLING OPEN & YOUTH

The bikers have races for Open competitors over 800 metres, 1600 metres, 3200 metres Championship of the Highlands and Deil tak the Hindmost.

The Youths' have two races 800m and 1600m.
