MEADOWBANK HIGHLAND GAMES
A new Highland Games is set to take place at Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday 25th August.
The games were originally scheduled for June but were put back to coincide with the Edinburgh Festival.
The games which hope to become members of the SHGA in 2014 will feature all the traditional heavy events as well as a full programme of Highland Dancing.
On the track there will be Open and Youth events run over 100m, 200m, 800m and 1600m all are handicaps with entries closing this Sunday with handicapper Adam Crawford.
