KENMORE ON MARKS FOR ANOTHER BIG NIGHT writes Shane Fenton

The annual Kenmore Highland Games takes place on Wednesday evening [3rd July].From 5.30pm.

The ever popular event is the only evening fixture on the SHGA calendar and takes place in the Games Park which is situated alongside the shores and beach of Loch Tay and is one of the most idyllic settings on the circuit.

The forecast looks promising for a sunny evening with temps of 17/18c.

Entries for all events will be accepted on the night.Open and junior track running & hill race. Heavy events,  Tug o War and childrens flat & sack races for all ages, highland dancing, solo piping and pipe band are all in the schedule.
Trade stands, food & bar stands plus lots lots more.

The youth race entries are expected to be boosted with the school holidays a week earlier this year.

Kenmore Highland Games is an evening of traditional Highland Games organised voluntarily by The Kenmore & District Sports Association which started in 1972.

Kenmore Games are known locally as the 'friendly' games as it welcomes everyone who cares to join in with this small community in their annual games. 

Kenmore Highland Games are ALWAYS on the first Wednesday in July.
