ALL ROADS LEAD TO OBAN ON THURSDAY
ALL ROADS LEAD TO OBAN FOR ARGYLLESHIRE GATHERING writes Shane Fenton
With the track season entering it's final few weeks all roads lead to Oban this Thursday for the Argyleshire Games. There is excellent increased prize money for both track & field events and heavy events.
With nearly all the running events scratch races and seperate events for both male & females [see events & prize list below] the meeting always attracts many of Scotland's top ranked track & field competitors.
There is also overall championships for Sprints, Middle Distance and Light Field all with good prize money [details below]. There is also a £50 prize for any male or female breaking a ground record.

A international field of heavy event competitors is also anticipated with the games staging three SHGA Championships, the 16lb and 22lb hammers and 56lb weight for distance
